StreamAMG hoops extended partnership with QPRContinuing a partnership which has been in place since 2016, Sky Bet Championship football team Queens Park Rangers is to continue to use StreamAMG’s suite of products for live and video-on-demand services. Last season, StreamAMG helped deliver more than 30 live games to international audiences, offered under the QPR+ brand, with selected matches also broadcast within the UK and Ireland. Video-on-demand delivery is managed via MediaPlatform, with payments and subscription management powered by StreamAMG’s proprietary CloudPay solution. Commenting on the deal, StreamAMG’s chief operating officer, Matt McKiernan, said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our long-term relationship with Queens Park Rangers. With initiatives such as QPR+ and their stadium ticket wallet, the club have shown themselves to be the most forward-thinking in the country when it comes to digital.” QPR’s head of media and communications, Paul Morrissey, added: “We are delighted to extend our relationship with StreamAMG. Their OTT expertise has enabled us to develop and grow a service which we are tremendously proud of. We look forward to developing and improving the QPR+ product going forwards which enables fans all over the world to watch the team in action.” StreamAMG’s sports division works with a host of clubs across the Premier League, EFL, SPFL and other competitions including Spain’s La Liga, Ligue 1 in France and Serie A of Italy. The company recently launched the Guinness PRO14’s OTT site, the first for a rugby union competition. www.rapidtvnews.com/2019052156111/streamamg-hoops-extended-partnership-with-queens-park-rangers.html

I’m glad they are doing this.
This surely will help the clubs generate some extra income whilst fans are away and maybe even attract a wider audience.
At £10 per game I imagine many fans who don’t have season tickets will take the option up to watch their club and that might help to bridge the gap in ticket sales cost.
I don’t know what it costs to watch QPR on a one off game right now - £30-£35 quid? However, we only get 12-14k to most games and maybe over the next few months the clubs will be able to get 4/5000 into the ground and have a further 5-10,000 pay to watch.

Not going until it's back to normal, but will keep the ST and watch streaming. Last season post lockdown wasn't fun, but will give it a go.

Anyone know if the season passes are available yet and from where? It doesn’t appear to have been made clear yet. My understanding is you probably just access them on the day if you have already bought a ST, but only for home games and midweek away games. I think you will still have the option to watch Saturday away games for £10, just like non ST holders can buy any game. The following was put up on the official site the other day: QPR+ will be the best way for Rangers fans all over the world to follow the R’s throughout September 2020! Rangers’ 2020/21 campaign gets underway on Saturday 5th September – away at Plymouth Argyle in the Carabao Cup – and the club will contest three Sky Bet Championship matches before the end of the month, too. QPR could also face up to three more Carabao Cup fixtures during September, depending on the progression that Mark Warburton’s squad make in the competition. For the first month at least, the new season will be contested behind closed doors, meaning that QPR+ is the only place that fans in the UK and abroad can watch matches live. Carabao Cup Saturday’s Carabao Cup fixture at Plymouth Argyle will be streamed live on QPR+, but only in the UK and Ireland on a match-pass basis. Match passes for the Plymouth Argyle match are priced at £10 and can be purchased by CLICKING HERE. The club are not permitted to stream the match live overseas. The EFL have yet to confirm whether later rounds of the Carabao Cup will be eligible to stream on club channels.Season ticket holders 2020/21 QPR season ticket holders will be provided with QPR+ access for both of Rangers’ league home matches during September (against Nottingham Forest on Saturday 12th September and Middlesbrough on Saturday 26th September), as confirmed by the EFL last week. Full details will be publicised by the club in due course. Non-season ticket holders Non-season ticket holders – both in the UK and abroad – can purchase match passes to watch the Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough matches. UK-based fans can also purchase match passes for Saturday's cup tie at Plymouth. CLICK HERE to purchase your match passes. Match passes are priced at £10 for UK-based supporters and £7 for overseas fans. Match pass prices are set by the EFL. Please note, the club are not permitted to sell match passes for the away trip to Coventry City on Friday 18th September, as it has been selected for live coverage by Sky Sports. Overseas R’s Overseas monthly and seasonal QPR+ video subscribers will be able to watch the Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough matches as they normally would. Overseas fans will need to be located in an EFL Dark Market country in order to watch the Coventry City away match on QPR+, however, as it has been selected for live coverage by Sky Sports. The below table summarises what will be available to watch on QPR+ during September. Please see above for full details on which games season ticket holders can watch without having to purchase a match pass. 05/09/20 Plymouth Argyle (Cup) (A) Live Stream Live Comms 🇬🇧 & 🇮🇪 only Worldwide 12/09/20 Nottingham Forest (H) Live Stream Live Comms Worldwide Worldwide 18/09/20 Coventry City (A) Live Stream Live Comms EFL Dark Markets Worldwide 26/09/20 Middlesbrough (H) Live Stream Live Comms Worldwide Worldwide Matches on QPR+ can be viewed via www.qpr.co.uk or the official QPR App.
