We done it fellas. It’s been a bloody hard season to watch (or at least 50% of it) but we got there in the end more comfortably then so many of us would have predicted.
We've disagreed on players, performances, tactics etc but we agree and share one thing in common our love for QPR.
Reading yours views throughout the season has made me smile and scratch my head but so many of you, with what you post offer reassurance.
We as fans deserve this outcome as much as the club and hopefully we have more positive brighter days ahead.
Enjoy the close season (hopefully England keep us smiling) and thank you from me to each of you weather we have agreed or argued this season.
Come URs 🙏🏽 and god bless each of you

great wholesome post westy and fully agree. personally don't dislike anyone on here and feel like it's the best forum out there, wide variety of opinions and characters makes this forum a very entertaining place.
in a weird way i've really enjoyed this season. the shit awful start and terrible football made our upturn in form and survival all the more sweeter.

Strange to relate, but it ended up a really enjoyable season. It was utterly and completely shite under Gareth, and I can remember my despair when seeing the team picked for Watford. Dozzell...... It then improved under Marty, slowly at first, and has been wholly engrossing since early January. I haven't enjoyed a season, all told, more since promotion tbh. It's been exciting and exasperating, and really great since Leicester away. I'm so very glad I didn't get my way and not appoint Marty manager. Best manager since Neil. And before him Gerry.
My thanks to all on here who make watching the Rangers endurable, in bad times, and more pleasurable, in good.

One thing I'd never like to see RFI become is just an echo-chamber of reinforced biases. The wider cross-section of views the healthier imo. Sometimes we can agree to disagree which is great. And sometimes we can even change each other minds with strong enough arguments, data and the power of reason. You can never stop learning in life.

To think, we gave every other team a 14 game head start and still finished well above the bottom 3.
It’s been a really emotional season. For the first time in years, it has been totally immersive felt like that we, the fans have kicked every ball.
This season has been very very special and will live long in our memories.
A final stat…..
As for this message board, you have all been amazing contributors which have brought laughs, kindness, arguments, love and debate.
Would not change this place for the world.
See you all on the summer transfer rumour thread 😃

What a season. From despair to resignation that we would be playing in League 1 next season, to renewed hope and complete joy at what was a very unlikely escape. It's been a ride for sure. Marti Cifuentes has breathed new life into the club and I hope to God the board are able to back him in the summer and we are able to push on next season. Wouldn't mind a nice, boring mid table season if I'm honest. Loved posting on here since day one and this season that hasn't changed, every single poster on here brings something to the board and it's always a very enjoyable place to be. Thanks all, and let's keep that going next season.

I echo everything all have said above. A weirdly, amazing season full of disbelief, despair, hope, relief and finally joy.
Thanks all for sharing in the ride.

Only just seen this but echo the sentiments and I really enjoy coming on here. You are a good bunch. As far as the season goes, I was at Watford with my lad. We were queuing to get in when the first goal went in. We left at half time and we were not the first. I never leave before HT after being at that infamous 5-5 Newcastle game when we were 4 nil down at HT. However, Watford was nothing like that situation, we were absolutely clueless and I could see us shipping seven or eight which I did not want to see.
How we went from that to thumping Leeds 4 nil is truly astonishing. A proper rollercoaster at the end as well. Easter we looked safe then losing to Sheff Wed and throwing away the lead at Plymouth pulled us back in.
I now look forward to the new season. Last summer it was a relief to be away from it but this summer will be different.

I missed the season from the Millwall game onwards due to a number of personal reasons which is a shame because I'd already decided to bail out after the conclusion of the season and it sounds like you had something special to watch.
You will be lucky to keep Marti beyond 2025 but I hope you all enjoy him being there whilst he is.
Will still enjoy posting on here about the history of the club and other 'off-topic' issues so you haven't got rid.of me completely 😂

Sorry to hear about your personal troubles Oldr. You certainly chose to watch the wrong half of the season, so sympathies for that as well.
Hope things improve for you and you are able to get down to Loftus Rd or at least watch a stream next season.

No, all good things to be honest 👍 And that's me finished with QPR and professional football now. Was always going to walk away at some point and released back in December that it'd be at the end of the season. Thanks for the memories and all that 👍

Been away for a week - so glad to be able to go away and not worry about the Coventry game Some lovely thoughts by everyone on here, not sure I can add anything new, other than I pretty much agree with all of them as regards to the pain, torture, stress, hope and ultimately joy - an entertaining season. Best signing of the season - definitely Marti. Just hope we can hold onto him for a few years. Summer ins and outs will be interesting this year with Nourry in place.
