Lot of talk on here about strikers - understandable given decade long failure to sign or develop a goal scorer. But potentially as big a challenge is attacking midfield. Willock likely off. Chair could be in jail or if cleared potentially sold. Andersen excellent but only seems to last an hour. Hodge ineffective and 99% likely back at Wolves next season. Smyth runs about but one goal and one assist ( ) doesn’t exactly scream goal threat. Albert at the glue factory. It was our attacking midfield that provided most of our threat last season. Could be a real challenge just to stay at the level we are - players like Chair and Willock not easily replaced on our budgets. Always possible of course - trevor sinclair did pretty well as andy sintons cut price replacement but a real test for the Nourie/ data team to identify players
