Couple of things to say if I may. And apologies for not posting sooner, but it’s the third attempt after trying yesterday and this morning, only for the text to disappear when nearly at the end.😡

The “Ignore” function is always a good place to start when faced with weirdos like him. Saves you having to read all their nonsense. Only issue is if someone quotes them whilst replying, so for those that simply cannot resist responding, perhaps just either respond without quoting or just PM them.

Pretty much all of us, certainly the vast majority know each other well enough by now to know that our little foibles aside, you are all a great bunch of people who would happily get along with each other in person as well as on here. I would hope that you also know that neither Stanley or myself would take the side of somebody like that as opposed to our more rational friends. But as he too has pointed out, and I tried to do the same last night myself, it’s better to let them hang themselves than resort to banning. We never really need to do that.

And as has also been pointed out, deleting an account having been expressly asked not to, will obviously result in never being allowed back. Or at least, knowingly!

There were 3 reasons I didn’t specifically challenge him myself. Firstly, I know from experience of these types that they start banding around accusations of being power mad etc., should an admin pull them up and I really couldn’t be arsed to get into that shit. Secondly, I always find more satisfaction in just not responding at all. They end up just howling into the wind by themselves and no doubt getting even angrier in the process. It makes them mad.😂 And finally of course, you lot were doing a splendid job of unanimously letting him know what he is. In fact, I was enjoying some of the responses, particularly the short, almost innocent ones.

@brightonr yes he did indeed call me a bender on the "when football was proper" thread 😂. it was one of his last posts but in his defence i had been taking jabs at him all day. water off a ducks back coming from him after the self grandiose posts and racist comments.

but he hanged himself in the end as you said, is what it is and a memorable arc for this forum. certainly wasn't dull that's for sure lol
