Spanning the generations - Mick Leach and Sam Field I agree with Mick Leach but do we under appreciate Sam Field? I know I was very pleased when he signed a new contract. He popped up with quite a few goals at end of the season didn't he? The two goals against West Brom spring to mind. Yes, he still divides opinion massively. Does a lot of ugly work, always gets a foot in somewhere and has done so in a struggling team for two seasons but gets jumped on if he has a poor game on the ball. |

Idrissa Sylla and Matt Phillips come to mind from recent times Thought them both pants. So very under appreciated by me. Phillips could play, however, do it was a mater of disliking him. |

TBF to you, he did go off for a while. Ainsworth had a lot to answer for. |
