interesting appointment this. he was very highly rated at arsenal and was seen as a real coup for crawley at the time but was abysmal there from what i remember.
either way he's got some pedigree when it comes to coaching and has a bit of tactical side to him. step in the right direction that's for sure.

Assistant manager at Cambridge United, Wigan, head coach at Crawley and also at Arsenal U23s - clearly has aspirations in management.
Is this forward-thinking, succession planning - bringing him in to take over from Marti when he eventually gets poached?

Would hope we’ll aim higher than that if/when Marti goes, especially if he gets us sorted as it’s looking like he’s doing. Looking forward to this season - huge progress or another false dawn?

His coaching stats are really nothing to get excited about. There is not a single shred of evidence that he could do the first team job and surely no one wants to go back to that kind of decision making. I think it is what it says on the tin, mainly re youth as that is where he has plenty of experience. |

It just doesn't mean anything in terms of being a manager, or successor to Marti. KB has done good coaching time CV but his stats as a guvnor beyond youth level don't add up yet. |
