No, definitely did ok today but you could see there was a couple of misunderstandings with out defenders as he didn't come for the ball. He's too light and short and will never succeed at this level.

Made two great saves and can be proud of himself but just isn't good enough in the long run. |

Some keepers can make a career out of being a number two and just stepping in here and there. Might be ok for cup games and back up for someone
I would not write him off yet. He’s come into the side with 10mins notice when he probably never thought he had no chance of being In Squad this season let alone on the pitch. It’s only circumstances which have opened the door this early

you could see there was a couple of misunderstandings with our defenders as he didn't come for the ball. That's because he'd had no training with them whatsoever. He had to play with literally 10 minutes notice due to Westwood getting injured in the warm up. |

Tbh it could have been 3 or 4 if he hadn't of made some of the saves he did.
Yes of course he was going to be a bit hesitant to come for certain balls it was his FIRST game with 10 mins notice. No wonder some of our players get hung out to dry by some of our 'supporters' when they're written off after ONE game.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Mahoney promoted to first team... I would. Is playing out of his skin but clearly is a bit behind where he should be to be a 1st team player. I'd expect Mahoney to go out on loan. Walsh is the 1 young keeper we have that is probably close to being able to step up. I understand he's been out with some bad breaks to his fingers. |

Decided when I hit 16 to revert to the name I was born with. You never know, maybe he's got a fella and he's taken his name! Ha ha |
