Another one they probably hired on merit and not because he's someone's mate. Scary stuff at Loftus Road 😱

Well I guess you cannot make Chris Ramsay redundant and then hire his replacement....although... But this is another link by Nourry to fix the broken. Warburton identified the gap between the Academy and the first team, denouncing them as not good enough - plus they did not play to even the same formation. Nourry spent 6 months looking at where the club was broken, and then told the retiring Hoos and the owners what and how they needed to fix it. He then conducted a search for a new CEO and they failed to appoint anyone, resulting in 'Well you do it Christian!'. Most of the things he is fixing have been crystal to most supporters, it is not rocket science, but he seems to have the ability to implement, a skill few consultants possess. To invest in the new Academy, and then have it so separated from the first team operation was madness. Whether or not the problem was down to individuals, structure / too many layers or just stubbornness, it was not sustainable. So on the face of it, an odd appointment, with a crazy designation, but possibly a key step to righting our wrongs.

Another brick in the wall to stability and development imo. Building a solis base and not just taking the first name that comes up.
Wildthing must be sitting at home wondering what this is all about - all you. have to do is play Hoofball (joke)

This was the guy in charge of Brenftord's academy when they decided to close it, which was a brilliant tactical and financial move, in line with their owner's data harvesting capabilities. They re-opened at the beginning of last year as a response to their much higher profile and increased profitability.
De Souza lost his job at the time. It would be very to ask him or the CEO a few questions about the proposed methodology which appears to be getting everyone to sing from the same hymn sheet.
