So lads & lasses. We're back.
How are we feeling about Saturday?
I'll be honest, I'm slightly concerned due to our lack of goals in pre season, especially the last 3 games, albeit 2 of those against PL teams.
I think we should have got another forward in before the start of the season and another CM.
Heart says win, head says draw.
Opinions?

Early games are unpredictable.
WBA have lost every pre season game barring one so they not in great shape. Win or draw donβt think we will lose.
Think they will get chair on the pitch fur 60mins.

Draw for me too. Good chance to have a look at us against a supposedly fancied one.

Agree with Westy, don't think we'll lose.
Window still open so not yet at full strength, plus Chair still not fit.
It really all depends on if Celar gets the service because he'll put it away if he does.

As others have said, don't think we'll lose, but if we do, hope we don't get the usual wailing and gnashing of teeth. It's just the first game with another 45 to follow.

To be honest, I'm more optimistic than last season with Uxbridge Elvis in charge
I feel playing teams who didn't roll over and let us tickle their tummy the last couple of weeks has grounded fans expectations of this season and I am confident it will be alright on the night as they say ..
Cmon u Rsssss

Beat me to it. π Chipotle for brekkie and in the boozer for 11am. 12.30 for 90 mins of venting, Then back to the rub a dub for more refreshments followed by staggering home at half past 8 to give the cat a good farking kick up the arse because we lost. Then sit in front of the tv and pretend to be interested in whatever she is watching along with giving her the occasional grunt. If we win, I will shag the cat and kiss the mrs and joyfully watch whatever crap she puts on, then give her the best 5mins I can muster. Gawd I love the football being back

Cmon u Rsssss same here. would obviously love us to push for the players but realistically a top half finish would be a great season after the debacle of the past 2 years. think we will surprise a few though.

Haven't got my head round our squad yet, no idea how good the incomers are - and will we still lose some key players?
So, with even less of a clue than usual, have optimistically gone for a win.

Itβs a great idea though. imagine a spicy breakfast burrito π Just noticed that it opens up at 11, so will steam in there and get the usual steak, cheese guacamole and hot sauce for brunch. Told the cat to be indoors for 8pm.
