Scored a few goals since he left us has Seb. Almost 1 in 2 games I think. Perhaps a better player than me and many others gave him credit for!

Scored the winner (pen) against Hertha in Berlin derby tonight. Lovely to see...he even put a few hools back in their seats after the final whistle.

Plus unless my memory is at fault, Smith had to play more games under Ollie, who for me was tactically the most incompetent of our recent gaffers. Having said all that I don't particularly rate this years 9, although I have a WHU mate who may well have informed that view. They thought he was hopeless. I like a 9 who is guaranteed to do specific a job given the service. Given equal fitness and age parity (which of course we can't apply) I'd take Smith to be more destructive than Polter or Hugill. Just my view. Having said all that Union is a brilliant club to play for, terraces, flares, massive communal input, the lot. This years 9 is billion times better then last years. Seb was better then last years too.
Last years tug boat is 1/4 this season the guy you don’t rate is 1/2
