Clean sheets total up on the last two seasons 👍
2020/21: 14 in 46 (Warburton)
2021/22: 12 in 46 (Warburton)
2022/23: 9 in 46 (Beale, Critchley, Ainsworth)
2023/24: 13 in 46 (Ainsworth, Cifuentes)
And that was only with Marti here 2/3rds of the season...

It's probably only false hope and things are going to turn sour at some point as per usual. But at least we'll have some peace of mind until the season starts.

If you have pace especially up front the opposition defence are put under pressure as you have this in your armoury,if not they just have to defend and no worries about ball over the top,the intent and threat is there. Picked 71 so I can beat awin 😜 But seriously, our pace looks a lot better. Plug Chair back in to things, it will get better. We are one decent distributing midfielder away from putting up numbers, I think.
Our goalie is legit. Glad we have him. He will keep us in many games this year.
