know absolutely nothing about madsen, quite enjoy his films and love the guys voice but don't know anything about how good a footballer he is.
by the sounds of it though he's exactly what we need in midfield. doubt we're paying anywhere close to €3.75m for him but imagine it will be a decent fee for him.

Reckon this should be a good signing if true. We have brought in players win their early mid 20's with some experience - this guy has been playing Belgian PL so should be more than capable in 4th Championship.
Not all those we have signed will work out - that's football but we seem to be approaching it in the right way plus the crop we brought into refresh the development squad hopefully will see a couple make it to the first team.
Cook Colback Fox must be among our high earners and will not last too much longer so having some young players to develop through in our style now is the way to go.
The 3.75 millón fee being banded around for Maden is probably more to appease the Belgian fans - their game is not in great financial state. Very few deals these days are cash on the table with add ons and bonuses and creative accounting. We should remember also the 3.75 million is in euro which would equate to about 3.2 million sterling - still a big number in our recent history but spread it over 5 years and maybe sell him on at a profit before and we will be doing ok.
But I think we have to trust Nourry who guided us through the financial woes of last season and just concentrate on the football side as we are building a squad that can do well this season and for a cfew seasons ahead.
