Undefeated in four of our five competitive games this season. Just need find that win.
We play on the last evening of the transfer window so wonder if that will effect side we put out?

Voted home win and meant away win. Thought I was on cup thread 🤦🏻♂️
Tough game and last nights loss will galvanise them even more but just got a sneaky feeling we're starting to click.
R's win on the road.
Anyone heading up? Few of us meeting in St Albans for a few about 3-4 if anyone fancy's a jar 🍺

Last night's result has set this game up very nicely indeed. Luton will be smarting from that defeat and keen for revenge, which plays into our hands I think. Plus we played an almost second 11 last night, whereas they played their 1st. But we're still going to have to be at our absolute best to get any kind of result there.
However, Dembele is on fire right now and I don't think they'll cope with him. They looked vulnerable when pressured in defence and their keeper seemed out of sorts. It all depends if we've got our shooting boots on.
For the starting 11 I'd like to see something like this:
Nardi
Dunne Cook JCS Paal
Field Colback
Smyth Madsen Dembele
Celar

Thought Luton looked the better team most of the game to be honest but it took a strike that bloke will never hit again to beat a solid defence.
Expect more of the same on Friday. Close to call.

I think you can undo your vote and change? Good point. If you click on what you voted for, that then disappears and you can vote again.

I'll be honest, I replayed that goal several times. It was a thing of beauty. I think he was even surprised he pulled it off. Cifuentes noted it as well, post game. That won't happen too often in a season.

Psychologically important for us to get at least a point on the board before the break.
Talking of which I reckon this one comes at a good time for us, give them a chance to sing from the same hymnsheet etc.

Sorry lads but I have gone home win. Looking back on the highlights they created a lot of chances. The second half was much more even once we had made our subs but I just think we are going to have one of those nights where nothing goes our way.
Another difficult fixture so early in the season.

Not that impressed with Luton feel we need a win but draw at best.
Gelling in progress including playing out from the back.

I loved watching Clive Allen. Proper goalscorer. Me too. That goal was classic Clive. Movement and speed. That season under Docherty was just brilliant. We'd have gone up if Stan hadn't have been sold.

We'd have gone up if Stan hadn't have been sold. What a team we had then - why didn't that do better?. I never knew that TC and Stan played in the same team. Or that Roeder played in midfield early in his time with us. Some names I had forgotten - Ricky Hill for them a good player I remember.
