as many of you know despite my batting for both teams i have a 4yo son from a previous relationship which only ended last year. my son is very likely high functioning autistic (lots of 'red flags' and he's in the process of being evaluated but my god it takes ages to get the ball rolling). one thing i try and share with him is QPR and football in general, i already managed to corrupt 2 of my 3 nephews into following the club but it's a bit trickier with my son who doesn't quite have the same comprehension as kids his age. he knows i love QPR though and when pressed will claim that QPR are the team he loves the most too. anyway, onto the cute thing lol. for some reason he has made a connection between QPR and ... cucumbers ... i guess it sounds similar to him but he's in a phase of running up to me every time he's eating cucumbers, shouting "CUCUMBER!" to which i'll act all calm and nice and say "ah yes, cucumber " and then he'll respond with "QPR!!!" to which i'll jump up and celebrate like we've scored a goal. he joins in and will end it with a "YOU RS!" and then repeat the process lol. kind of cute tbh, we watch the highlights of every game we win and i'll have him on my lap and act as though it's a live game so every time we score (including the replays) i'll act like i'm on the edge of my seat and then celebrate with him. when the ball goes in lol. just thought it was cute and wanted to share tbh. can't wait to eventually take him to a game!

Not sure someone with you're proclivities should be talking about corrupting kids mate.

<<< PC Alert >>>> I know it was meant as a joke Tarbs, but in the interests of clarification, homosexuals or bisexuals are no more of a corrupting influence to children as heterosexuals. Here endeth the lesson.

Joke mate, Corbs knows it's a joke too. Do me a favour and don't mention it to Kier Starmer though. I could probably do a stretch for that!
