No one can say Marti hasn't reacted to the failure of Madsen and Andersen to perform in recent games. That's the strongest side he could put out without them and almost identical to the one I would have chosen... We've got a fighting chance!

Well the Danes have been dropped and Varane starts, like everyone wanted last game. Can't complain about team selection now imo.
Worried about JCS not being available though.

I'd have played Andersen instead of Smyth on the right, otherwise that would be my team too. Smyth really needs to step up now, if he's capable of it. His main focus should just be on getting accurate crosses in. Forget trying to dribble and go past a man as he invariably concedes possession doing that.
Looks like JCS was rushed back too early last game
