Watched my boys team lose 14-0 this morning. Being forced to go to the neighbours for a drink later because they’re moving out of the area. And this in between the two. The term shit sandwich springs to mind, of monumental proportions. Sounds like there is no bread involved. |

complacent start to the season - we need to get back some of that pragmatism from late last season. Trying to play “the right” way might be good for Marti’s cv but isn’t going to gain too many points in the Championship where you need to get in some hard challenges and progress the ball quickly - and in both aspects we have gone backwards

Someone needs to get a grip and fast. Even with injuries, and some very iffy looking incomers, we need to be working harder out there. That's three in a row now where we've been poor imo (starting with Palace).
Not impressed with tactics, set up or application.

Madson Varane Celar all pretty poor signing
We are piss week in midfield as I’ve been saying
Marti is losing the plot atm and has no plan B

The more creative players, Saito, Smyth, Dembele are not creating.
Varane, Santos, Celar, Madsen don't look good enough, Anderson doing a Stefan Johanssen impression.
Nardi the one positive.
Marti needs to get his thinking cap on. He's clearly a good manager and has worked wonders, but for some reason these players just don't look up for it.
We look so slow and laborious.

The team has changed too much from last season imo
Dembele Saito Varane Madson Santos
Apart from Dembele the rest are bench players
We miss Haden like schofield misses his runner
So obvious Field Colback Haden is what it should have been
Our midfield is currently shit
They are not strong enough the new players
Need Colback back asap and Chair
Otherwise heads will start to drop
These signing are poor so far

Strength end of last season was the centre of the park was rock solid as we had two from three of Hayden Field and Colback.
It’s feels soft this season as Field doing work of two.
