In the boozer now having a couple pints before the game, honestly expecting zero. Saturday sapped all my enthusiasm lol
Really hope it works the other way and the useless fuckers turn up but I won’t be holding my breath.

More comfortable with that side.
Smyth Celar Dembele time for a performance from each of you.
Varane in middle makes sense with Field makes sense.
Few players there with something to prove hopefully they play hungry.

I am fine with that apart from Smyth - how many games has he played since his return? How many assists? How many goals? If you just want something to run around, play a Jack Russell. There was a table on here the other day showing Saito had created a huge number of chances in a crap team, yet he is left out in favour of the headless chicken.
Like others am pleased with the back four and defensive midfield.
Assume Frey needed a rest.

Smyth is weak link, but if you want to play Chair on the left, then you have to start either Andersen on the right and Dembele central or Dembele right and Madsen central. Out of those three alternatives, maybe Smyth is best choice.

Smyth - unlike Madsen - is a trier and also seems to care. So some credit due. But as a poster commented a while back, how many more times do we need watch Smyth slap himself on the thigh in frustration because he has done the hard work of beating his man then fluffs his final ball? I honestly think if he was going to get better he would by now. |
