On a positive we look a lot better with JCS, Varane, Chair, Saito, Dunne at right back. Not saying we are good but a hell of a lot better than we were. That’s grounds for v modest optimism

first 10 or so minutes ... woeful. after that though with a more patient style of play we've been decent. varane looks good, field and saito having a very good game and chair getting about. celar anonymous but i wish we made more of an effort to find space

Lloyd up top second half work their CBs over. I genuinely think Coventry look beatable if we go for them.

Saito, dembele and potentially varane are good signings but we should have brought in some championship experience like a forward and Hayden instead of doubling £5 mil on the ballerina and 77s turd Big issue is no balance or creativity. So poor in midfield and while our strikers are limited they get fuck all quality service Yeah but at least Ilias has become a less selfish cunt in his spell on the sidelines 👍🏻 |

Wow, Celar is an absolute ghost of a player. The ball passes right through him. He has the least presence of any footballer I've ever seen in the Hoops.
Apart from that's we're tentatively feeling our way back into this match and there are some encouraging signs. So good to see JCS back, he oozes class, what a difference he makes. And Varane is showing nice glimpses of what he's capable of, he's been solid and progressive, and Saito's energy and sheer persistence is a joy to watch. So not all bad. But Demebele needs to be hooked along with Caspar the Friendly Ghost. Lloyd and Andersen on for me.
