We look better organised. Coincides with an uptick in varane. He’s just done a mad one there though where he’s put a brilliant tackle in and stopped playing. Don’t know another team that are that soft they’d have players that do that. Needs to cut that out but generally so much better from him |

While Ashby gets attention, gotta say this is the best I've seen from Madsen, Ashby and Celar this season, and to my complete surprise on seeing the starting 11, we've really competed this half. Refreshing. Shame Ashby's had to go off. And Morgan is just great! Varane been good too.

Decent half that and Varane stand out player bossing the midfield. Morgan been involved too.
Celar not as bad as previous.
If chair and Smyth could actually put some quality in the box we could be in business.
You can see on the ball Madsen is quality player bit how do we get him involved in the game to pick passes. When he has the ball he’s good but when he don’t he strolls.
Were well in this game

Varane turned up. Been very impressive both defensively and offensively. Midfield three the best this season. Whatever space they're getting they're making. Solid unit. Field doing well at CB. Keep him there.

wow, we're actually playing quite well! celar been the least good of the bunch but he's at least put a bit of a shift in and had some decent touches.
madsen looks to be having a good game too, 2 headers so far one of which went where he wanted it too. looks much better at shielding the ball.
varane take a bow for that first half, few moments where he hesitated but he's stepped into that destroyer role very well this game.
