How on earth can Marti conjure a win out of these circumstances? It's almost impossible without a recognisable striker and only one relatively creative midfielder. So win ugly has to be the approach. Stifle everything and hope to score from a set-piece header seems the the only realistic chance we've got.
I wonder how Zan Celar feels? He can't be confident. Does Marti try Lloyd from the start? Who knows. What a mess.

Before every match I read fans saying “we are going to win this.”
And then we don’t even come close.
Not knocking your optimism fellas but I just don’t see it.
We have had winless runs before where you think “we were so unlucky against x team when we hit the post six times” but this season we are exactly where we deserve to be. In some games the score could have been much worse.
With a fully fit squad I could get on board the Optimism Express, but with no JCS, Chair, Frey, Coleback along with Dembele, Paal etc - who is left?

True but we should have swept Plymouth aside with ease. Think we had almost 30 shots. Sunderland too we were arguably the better side and should have won if we could shoot. I get your point though, we're shite. |
