grim times. we've actually looked pretty good tbh but nothing is going right. feel a bit for celar but fucking hell he never should have taken that penalty. smyth been woeful too aside from winning the penalty.
varane and madsen pick of the bunch. saito and morrison solid too.

1st half summary
Madsen actually having a decent game; as was Celar until that tragic penalty miss. Smyth did well to win the pen but unfortunately remains our weak link, and had two good chances to score but his shooting was calamitous as usual. Madsen should have taken the pen. Varane also having a good game. Saito and Ashby both decent too, but we just lack the cutting edge up front that makes all the difference. Dunne, at fault for their goal, still has these kind of errors in him. Nardi kept us in the game in injury time.

Madsen and Morrison have impressed me. Varanne looked decent.
