For that reason he's oooot. Agree mate. Ability wise, he's one of the poorest midfielders I've ever seen at Premier League level. The guy was absolutely stealing a living. But somehow we recouped 80% of our outlay. As such, there is no way he can be ranked as bad as signings like SWP or Julio Cesar which ended up costing us many millions in wages.

I would have a SWP over Jordan Mutch. The excitement on old forum when we signed him like he was game changer.
There were two or three palace fans who I got in rows with old site when they said I was being bitter when I said they had signed one of the worst players I’ve ever seen. Wonder what there views are now

Brentford signed Pontus Jansson from Leeds yesterday. £4m up front rising to £5.5m depending on appearances and promotion. Also have Mathias Jenson lined up for eur3m.

brentford have done some great business so far. with a few more players they could be a real force.
they've needed to step it up a gear in recent years anyway as even though they've had some great players they've been too much of a selling club and have simply rinse and repeated with transfers. if they ever wanna get promoted then they need to make a proper effort of it

Romaine Sawyers leaves Brentford. That’s a loss to them he’s quality player
If they lose Maupay too could be interesting season for them

They really are using the QPR manual of shit or bust. I don’t think there getting promoted automatically

Anyone else think Brentford could really struggle this year?
They are literately having a fire sale. Maupay off and potentially Watkins before the window shouts.
They’ve already lost 2 or 3 other first team players and although they have done brilliantly in the transfer market over the last few years you have to wonder if it will bite them on the arse eventually, a bit like Southampton.
The players they are signing this year seem to be from foreign teams which is a gamble and they look like losing a massive amount of their goals!!

I dont think they will go down maids but there not one of the promotion favourites like many think
They had 80% of play yesterday and lost to the only shot on target from Blues
Think we will finish above them

Nah they won't struggle, still think they'll finish above us but it'll be a lot closer. They won't do as well as they have in recent years. They battered Brum on Saturday. Any other day that could've been a 6-1 win.

I couldn't reconcile what Clinton Morrison was saying to the highlights I saw which suggested they should have comfortably won that game.

Reckon that Diakhaby is their threat. He'll have Manning on toast. Pritchard is handy too.
