huddersfield pretty much down. final spot is between sheffield wednesday, plymouth and birmingham. I reckon it'll be Plymouth that go down.

If they lose in their last game at home against Norwich, they're down. Norwich need to win or draw to guarantee a play-off spot, so will be up for it. If Birmingham draw against Norwich, they're pretty much down - unless Plymouth lose by 5 or more at home to Hull (who will also be up for it, needing a win to have any chance of a play-off place). If Plymouth draw or lose by 4 goals or fewer against Hull, they're safe. Would love to see Brum go down, given how they treated Eustace.

Blackburn. Always a story, can see it being Blackburn - but hope it’s Birmingham.

Can’t see Birmingham beating Norwich and they have to win to stay up draw is no good.
They’re not a very good side they are made up of the chokers we dispensed with. If they turnover Norwich then fair play to them but if I had a pound of anyone’s money I know where I would invest it. 2 wins in 13 facing side who have only lost twice since January who need a result to secure their own future.

This end of season battle at both the top and the bottom is a fantastic advert for what is in many ways the best league there is. No VAR polluting games with its ridiculous time wasting, vibe-sapping wankery. Anyone capable of beating anyone else on their day. Third biggest league in terms of attendance in Europe. What a shame there's that other league above it! Third biggest? Doubt it.

Championship could STILL be the third biggest European League in terms of total attendance. Frinstance, the German Bundesliga 2 is shown as 8th biggest global league and the EFL Championship as 13th - in terms of average attendances. But the Bundesliga 2 only comprises 18 teams and each team plays 34 matches - so the total season attendance across all matches is 13,575,996. The Championship has 24 teams and each team plays 46 matches - so the total season attendance across all matches is 20,8302,72 - more than half as many again! [EDIT] The above figures are a bit cock-eyed, as I had 24 teams each playing 46 matches - BUT didn't allow for the slightly important factor that there are 2 teams involved in each match. So corrected figures, based on the figures in acricketer 's graphic above, should be halved, giving: Bundesliga 2, 18 teams, each team playing 34 matches - total season attendance across all matches = 6,787,998 Championship, 24 teams, each team playing 46 matches - total season attendance across all matches = 10,415,136
...which looks more in keeping with Timmy Doc 's Wikipedia figures.

The stats shared are from 2016/17. Have things changed in 7 years?

I think Wednesday can still go down. Think they could think they’re safe but their goal difference could be the difference. You only need to be a few % off it.

DO you get more prize money for finishing higher, or is that just in the Prem?

The real prize is joining the Premier League gravy train. The Champ prize prob gets spaffed on a party for the players with Crystal and hookers with outsized breasts.
