Don’t wish him no ill and he was worth the punt but you could see first few games he was not up to it. Strikers need composure and he totally has none

Wish that lad well, could never fault his effort. He was just never cut out for Championship football.
Also ain't his fault we spent big money on him. Bad punt in era where big money was being spent by a lot of clubs in this league. He was also a long way from the worse purchase made at this level around that time. We'd have been in far worse shape financially if we'd gone for the likes of Rhodes, Hooper or McCormack etc.

Just been looking at our dealings under Les & Hoos watch since the 2015 summer window. Pretty horrendous stuff and deserving of a thread of its own. Some names in there that I'd completely forgot about - Borysuik as example, signed for £1.5m and was let go on a free about a year later. Amazed he's lasted this long. |

Pretty horrendous stuff and deserving of a thread of its own. Some names in there that I'd completely forgot about - Borysuik as example, signed for £1.5m and was let go on a free about a year later. Amazed he's lasted this long. The fee for Ariel Borysiuk wasn't disclosed at the time. I'd really doubt we paid as much as 1.5m for him. |

Yeah, I saw that was the number quoted on transfermarkt. I wonder where they get the info from though? Some of it has to be guesswork. So many fees aren't disclosed publicly these days. |

Not sure mate. They have a few of our deals that have a '?' for the fee part so I'm guessing they got decent info on the Borysuik deal. |
