What won't be on there will be the uncrystallised profits on Eze, BOS and Chair. These are significant. I think bos was the only one we paid a fee for - rumoured to be around the 1 mil mark. Should be looking at £40m for the three at a minimum when it comes to selling,if they keep on improving. Genuinely don't think we paid anything like that for BOS mate. I think his contract was winding down at Blackpool and we got him for peanuts!

Thought BOS was around 350 to 400k? Maybe wrong though. To be fair to Holloway he did well transfer wise while in charge.

Something not mentioned on this thread which is also worth considering are sell-on clauses when we let young players move on. Whilst this was before Les' time, the sell on from Raheem Sterling made us nearly 10m quid! What other players have we moved on in recent years with sell-on's, and can we see them making us any money? Heard from a good source we actually have another sell on clause too of 10% which is amazing if true. Didn’t know you could have two personally.

Could only be Washington? That chairman is well clued up with transfers. Or at a push Cousins based on he was a young rated player at the time.

you might be right when we sold to Wednesday I think that's the reason gladwin got lumped into that joint deal when we signed both, to help Swindon avoid having to pay spurs the full whack. Did come across a bit dodgy. Beyond that you're probably looking at cousins or maybe smithies that had clauses inserted into deals when we signed them. Both young at the time.

Our transfer dealings the last 9 years have been an absolute pile of shyte. The only period I can recall a profit on players was under Holloway with Freeman and now BOS with Eze to come. There needs to be a review on how many players have been released after running down their contract or paid off. To not have earned a penny off the majority sums up the ub in a nutshell.

Goes back further then these two. Last time we were consistently good in the transfer market was believe it or Richard Thompson days. The Chairmen we drove out
Bought cheap sold high back then (What were trying to do now but it’s totally different football environment)
I dont think it’s just us, it feels worse as we know our club inside out, but if you went most clubs In championship do you not think they would have similar length list and same complaints about their owners, direction and running
Modern football is Shit

We seem to finally be making a profit on some players now at least. Disappointing figure for BOS but s significant profit that we probably need to keep within FFP.

I thought Thompson days were just an asset stripping period in our history..they had no interest in QPR their only interest was to line their pockets.

My frustration is where we have ended up under this regime when they had a chance to really do something with our club.

Spent plenty of money recently..I would expect plenty of foreign players to join now their premiership status is confirmed. Honestly think Beilsa should have got them promoted much earlier than this season.

Played Bamford as main striker so miracle he got them up at all.

Is Harrison on loan still or did they sign him on a perm deal.

Peacock-Farrell also drew in 2 to 3 million, Roofe also went so worked with a few loans and mostly youth which is a testament to how he coaches and improves players. That Ben White looks like someone who will do very well with them or Brighton

Costa I remember not sure on Harrison, The sales will cover or nearly cover both signings so not spent a great deal.

We really ought to reserve judgement until the end of this window and see what the squad looks like for what could be a critical and really difficult season for the club. There may still be some going and we certainly need a few coming in.
