Yes, we know that strikers are a priority.
But...
Chair and Eze are playmakers, who are both capable of filling the gap vacated by Freeman.
Does Warbs think they need some competition?

Especially given the club's predicament, and Warbs and his team are the perfect people to give them that platform. They're both at the right age too.

Europe is where you find the best deals, plus it has far more choice. Are we even looking there?? We lack the financial clout to compete in the UK for players within our budget. Why isn't this obvious to the club? Especially as this has been the case for some time.

Being at the right age doesn't mean they are necessarily good enough mate. I'm hoping Chair can be as influential at Championship level as he was on loan at Stevenage last season. Eze, I really have my doubts. All the skill in the world, but just doesn't seem to apply himself consistently!

Being at the right age doesn't mean they are necessarily good enough mate. I didn't say that Tarbs. Don't twist my words! 😂 Point I'm making is they both have the TALENT to step up now. It just requires the right application, attitude and coaching. Eze and Chair were superb in the last game. Did you watch them? Eze's form also picked up towards the end of last season, especially the final game at Sheff Weds in which he was magnificent. Chair has had absolute rave reviews when on loan last season, scored some great goals too. And has been excellent in all of his cameos for us. As I say, NOW is their time, they just need to grasp the nettle and Warbs is the perfect guy to instill confidence and the right guidance and coaching.

Point taken Stan.
Haven't watched much pre-season to be honest. Been pre-occupied by the Rugby Championship.
My only concern is that if Eze and Chair do struggle then Scowen is probably the next best option as an attacking central midfielder. Not ideal, but not a train smash I suppose.
I think we've got our priorities right at the moment though. Strikers are certainly at the top of the shopping list!

What's he worth? lol, thats the sticking point. could probably go for 2mil, but some are saying he would be worth £20mil in a few years if he reaches his potential. but alas, the club dont have 2 mil unless we can sell lumely or luongo and leister combined

Ben Marshall is a right winger isn't he?
Different sort of player than Judge. And the fact he's spent much of the last 2 seasons on loan at Millwall doesn't fill me with confidence. Norwich signed him on a 4 year deal, he only ever got 4 games there!
