I have a feeling we are going to be this years surprise package!! We are heavily favoured to struggle but I think Warbs has built a decent team with a great blend of youth and experience.
I think Amos, Smith and Eze are genuinely class players at this level who are backed up by the raw ability of shopido, Eze and Chair.
Rangel, Pugh, Cameron bring a wealth of experience and we have seasoned pros like Kane, Hall, Barbet and Hugill who know this league inside out.
Defensively we will be solid, midfield we have that mixture of grit, energy and a bit of quality.
If we can get the strikers going we could genuinely challenge top half and maybe even aim to flirt with that 6th spot.

i think there's a chance we could have a very fun season. think it'll be frustrating at times though, i can see us conceding a fair few goals on the counter

I'll take 16-18 right now. Hopefully we won't be shipping 70 goals again but scoring over 50 might be an ask. I am trying to be pragmatic about next season rather than negative and, similar to a lot of games last season, we will b e easy on the eye whilst doing it.

Hope so but I remember feeling very confident after watching us beat Watford 2-0 a few years back under JFH.

Feeling more confident about a solid bottom half finish without a squeaky bum. I think this is the main aim first and foremost. Reading all the other forums and social media a lot of people have us down as relegated already. Amazingly, people have us finishing below the likes of Charlton, Luton and Wigan which I find amazing. I don’t think many people are acknowledging the level of signings we have made plans certainly are not aware of our kids. The main thing is we finish the season a championship team again and I genuinely believe we have team that is stronger than at least 6-8 teams this league and competitive with at least half a dozen more!! |
