Good to know they're getting a chance and not just being written off as worse than Wells/Hemed before theyve even kicked a ball ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

Hugill has scored a few and is still quite young so may step up and get us goals. The other lad is a total unknown so could be great or the usual tat we get on loan. Hopefully he is the suprise packet of the squad.

Just wanted discussion about our striking pair. Now, when I checked the facts, we've lost 25 goals in Wells, Hemed, Freeman and Smith. That's surprisingly few IMO.

Mlakar showed he had great movement yesterday very much like Vargas. Was playing on the shoulder so will get caught out on occasions but if he breaks the line he will be in.
First impressions were I liked

Mlakar showed he had great movement yesterday very much like Vargas. He could be a better bet than Hugill. Wouldn't be the world's biggest surprise.

Did like look of him Hal. But there remain two issues, no point having great movement if your always offside and when not offside people donโt put you in. Will need lots of work on training pitch
Dont really know much about Hugill but plenty excited by his signing so will sit on fence for now

With only two "proven" CF`s, I feel we are bit short up front.

Got a feeling that Mlakar will prove to be a shrewd signing.
Hugill has got a point to prove to West Ham so I hope he really takes his chance with us. Can score all sorts of goals if memory serves me right from that season with Preston.
As for worse than Wells / Hemed ? I'd say anything without Hemed is an improvement.

There's a shrewdness about this whole setup now.Not quite enough to prompt parting with cash for a canny bet,but a couple of more signings might tempt an each way punt.

Warburton has insisted he understands why Moyes believed Hugill could step up to the Premier League โ and says the player, who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, is determined to prove himself. โHe brings physicality and a hunger to prove people wrong,โ Warburton said. โIโve read some of the comments about Jordan โ about him being a waste of money at West Ham. Heโs a very talented guy. I fully understood why David Moyes bought him.
Thereโs a very talented footballer with a real hunger to prove many people wrong and Iโve no doubt he will do. Iโve watched him in the first couple of days of training and heโs been outstanding.
He has a presence and a real desire to score goals. Weโre looking forward to seeing the impact he has for QPR this season.โHugill is set to make his Rangers debut in Saturdayโs opening-day match at Stoke. www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-boss-backs-hugill-to-prove-critics-wrong-and-moyes-decision-to-sign-him-for-west-ham

Even if they are not better they will put in more effort than Hemed.
