Been out all day and only just watched the highlights. For Jordon Hugill to get a start like that - boom! - fantastic! And then for Eze to score a goal like THAT.... wow!!! Oh my word WHAT a goal. Like a knife through butter. Such silky skills. WHAT a player we have here. What players! What a manager. Fuck me I'm feeling excited about this season!!

The passes in build up has not been mentioned. Great football, pass and move. Started from keeper and move actually started before Lumley from memory, as the ball was already in play and went back to Lumley for second time

Understandably Eze’s goal will get the plaudits.
Fair play to Hugill though. While the Stoke defence seemed to assume Bos wouldn’t get a cross in, Hugill did what a good striker should always do and take a gamble. Kept his head at the vital time with a deft flick into the net.

Eze looks genuinely two footed. Superb balance and low centre of gravity. His goal were true evidence of these gifts.
Hudgill's goal was superb too. Great pass from Cameron to pick out BOS, then a great cross to find Hudgill for a striker's instinct finish.
