Would I be correct in saying that there was no-one who commanded a transfer fee in the side yesterday? BOS is the only one I am unsure about; I know he was brought in for the U23's but did we pay Blackpool for him?

Really good shout. Think possibly Manning we paid fee for???
In a way with what we have sold perhaps shows club is operating well as that performance tops all of the efforts when we have had high earners and big names representing us

we defo paid fees for manning and BOS. maybe hall but i'm not sure on that. still, that never even crossed my mind that we've assembled a pretty promising team and have spent barely anything to do so!

Manning was £61k, Hall was on a free. BOS is an unknown fee but Transfer market has him down as currently worth £90k which seems a bit low.

I'd speculate it's probably been a long while since Stoke lost at home to a team put together for less than 250k in transfer fees.
It's quite an amazing feat to have put together a side capable of competing at this level for such little outlay really!

I'd bet the Shrewsbury side that beat them in the cup last season was quite cheap !
