..but it continues to irk me the way the BBC, in their ongoing brainwashing campaign, have inserted 'Women's football' between 'Premier League' and 'Championship' in their 'Leagues and Cups' index on their football site. Does it deserve to be there on merit? No. Should it be there logically? No. It is social engineering, pure and simple.

Due to a familial connection, my cousin's daughter plays for Liverpool now, I have had an interest in it for many years... all the way back to the days of our plastic pitch when the club used to run a pre game tournament before home games. I get that some men may feel threatened, but I'd rather have women's football given every bit of exposure it can get than an inch of publicity given to horse racing.

That's a bit of snide remark Esox "I get that some men may feel threatened". I don't feel 'threatened' in any way by women's football - good luck to them - what my post is about is the social engineering aspect of it - AKA having it shoved down our throats.

We get social engineering everywhere now. You can't be thinking for yourself any more Hud! That would explain why Jeremy Corbyn has been subjected to the most intense character assassination of any public figure by the MSM. They need to know that people won't vote for him and they are doing their damnedest to convince people not to vote for him.

I think if I want to get drawn into a political debate I would head over to LFW. It is quite refreshing on here without it.

What's the difference between social engineering and indoctrination? What's the punchline? It's actually a genuine question Croys. Trying to figure it out myself. Only difference I can think of is the word 'indoctrination' has just existed for a lot longer.

Diversity and inclusion is a major strategic focus for corporations globally. If a company walks the walk you will see much greater effort to include people of all shapes and stripes as equals. The BBC is certainly committed to this. Call it social engineering or rebalancing norms or promoting tolerance or overcoming unconscious bias..... Increasingly this will be the new norm and the world will be better for it.

Social engineering is correct Hubs.......and I fucking hate it.
Where I live in SA you can see the end result of social engineering gone way too far, and it will be the death of that country in the not too distant future. In my opinion, it's about time people started to make a stand against the PC brigade and starting calling this sort of thing out for the bullshit that it is!

don't see the big deal with it getting more exposure, its pretty much the same as everything else thats advertised from shampoo to boxing! watch it if you want too or don't. i don't watch womens football personally but have no issue with it getting more publicity and think its a good thing if anything.
my ex's cousin (QPR fan too!) plays for tottenham ladies and is football mad, shes dedicated her entire life to football but did feel sad that no one cared much about womens football a few years back

I make Hubble right on this.
Not a case of not respecting the fact that many women play the game and/or follow it.
But I doubt that I will ever get anybody to justify to me how women's football can possibly justify preferential billing over The Championship.

I'd rather Drink An East Ham Brass with full blown AIDS salty woodpecker cider and ethanol piss from an Erlenmeyer Flask, than keep reading about the wonders of IRA houseboy Corbyn across every fucking QPR forum i log on to.

I didn`t really want to get involved in this debate, but I have changed my mind, and my honest opinion is that children of both sexes who play the game will say that womens and mens football are equally important and therefore deserves the same exposure in the press.
