We went through this all ad nauseum over the last couple of years with Nasser and his stats obsession never providing the overall picture of a player's performance. Sorry mate. I won´t do a nasser95 on here, and use stats uncritically. I promise henceforth to only use stats when it suits my agenda 😂

I thought Eze done well but I am not sure what his best position is. For me, a number 10 needs to be able to run in behind but he doesn't do that enough for my liking. On the ball, his touch, movement etc is so good but he requires others to move.
At one stage, he dropped so deep he was running behind our centre backs. Means we have a player too deep and lacks threat.
I am beginning to this he would be better off a little deeper, along side Cameron (obv not a defensive mid) so he can get it and ping it about. He would be better positioned to then drop a shoulder and go past someone playing a one two. Then, you could have Chair or something in the 10 role running in behind giving him options.
Eze didn't give Manning many options as he was tucking in side but his touch is so good maybe a deeper play maker role could work.
I had no idea what thread to pit this in so went for here!

I think Warburton must have seen my post here. Eze was brilliant in a deeper role yesterday.
