No not Akos but who else is getting themselves well and truly up for it this season after last few years of, let’s be honest, utter dross on playing and manager front. We’ve got a proper manager now, one chosen on ability and experience rather than the “big name” or the emotional “he knows qpr” route.
He’s built a squad that has a good mixture of youth and experience. His interviews actually make sense unlike the last one who i couldn’t understand or the one before that who made no sense either other than I think his team talk was “charge!” or the one before that who didn’t make sense either but at least English wasn’t his first language.
Not only that the scum down the road have appointed a “big name” who believe that 1 season in the championship means they should manage a side that is normally top 4 in the premier league. I really think they will be bottom half, whilst we may just may have the season to go down in Qpr history. I mean I enjoyed Stoke away!

I'm well happy with Warbs, like what we did over the summer regarding transfers and am looking forward to the season.
Am not getting carried away at all as we are in the foundation stage of building a proper side but I'm quietly confident we have a squad that is far more balanced than we have had since Warnock and that we should be looking upwards rather than over our shoulders this season.

3 weeks ago most of us were in meltdown, then the strikers came in. Totally different feel to the place now. Well done Warbs, Les and the boardroom for giving us a team we can believe in

He built from the back and got rid of players that were too comfortable eg Luongo. But agree that likes of Hugill are top signings

But I agree with the general sentiments of what most are saying on this thread. I'm feeling more positive now than I have done at this point of the season since our promotion season under Warnock!

I'm happy to see the return of entertaining footbaLL. Also last year I always looked on games in trepidation but now thinking 'we have a chance here'. Bristol away game is an prime example.

Friendly Bee here. Has Warbs started leaving 3 up when defending corners yet? He did it with us and it confused the shit out of the opposition and we scored from a number of quick break outs!
