Lumley
Kane Hall Barbet Manning (is wallace even real)

I can see the arguments for dropping Bright, however he was by far our biggest threat on Saturday. He ran their defence ragged and they clearly couldn't handle his pace. So I'd be very surprised if Warbs replaces him. But yes his final ball / shooting is still found wanting at times. The kid desperately needs a goal for confidence and was unlucky not to score vs Hudds.
I think Kane is really pushing Rangel for the RB slot now and would be less surprised to see that change.
Pugh didn't play any part on Saturday, so again I'd be surprised to see him start.
Scowen remains a mystery why he didn't even make the bench at Bristol. No idea if injured or dropped altogether.

Think BOS is in tough position out wide on right as he gets zero back/support from Rangel as he’s not got legs bomb up and down so he’s doing it all on his own
Defo has to improve final ball and finishing as he gets in great positions but too often it comes to nothing

I'll go with whatever MW picks. He seems to know what he is doing.

He looked better with Kane who looks impressive. Not been hugely tested yet so glad we still have Rangel but I can see his role diminishing quickly.

The only change i would make right now is replacing rangel with kane.
other than that, with a win and a draw in our first 3 games, i'd keep picking the same players.
Lumley needs a good talking to, flapping at crosses, full on indecisions, fella needs to calm down and focus.

He needs to taking to one side!

Thing I don't get about Lumley, and I'm curious not criticising, is if you keep slicing the ball up in the air why not practise NOT doing it? I couldn't kick properly with my left foot as a kid so I kept going in our backyard kicking against a wall until I could.

Lumley is for sure a better shot stopper thank Kelly, Kelly better with ball at feet. Keep the faith with Lumley as before Saturday had started the season well. Saw nothing from Kelly in pre season or in league cup to suggest he would improve us.

On another mixed forum the City fans were saying how good our wingers were. I would be tempted to drop Eze a little deeper. He likes it at his feet and needs movement in front of him so I think he could do okay next to a cameron. Lumley Kane Hall Barbet Manning Cameron Eze BOS Pugh Chair Wells Probably attacking suicide but it will be an exciting 5-4 win.

Amos and Cameron been most consistent players so far would not break that partnership up. The problem, if there is one, is ahead of them and turning what is loads of possession into prob goal scoring opportunities

Agreed, the BFG deserves a turn, but I very much doubt he will get it. Warbs will be keen to see Barbet and Hall cement that partnership. But I hope he prevents Barbet from taking any more free kicks!

Yet every time we get a free kick within 30 metres of the goal, Barbet steps up and spanks it into the wall. I can only think he's got a screamer in him in training.

Barbet one of first names on team sheet in my eyes. More then just a defender our passing game is built around someone like him at back
Remember all praise team got first two games for the football we were playing it all starts with him!!! Who took ball Under pressure and played out for Eze goal st stoke
Changing people like Scowen makes sense dropping Barbet would make no sense at all

Great chance for us to secure 3 points tonight at home and go into Saturdays game against Wigan in high spirits. I think it would be harsh to drop Lumley right now but at the same time I think he's only one mistake away from being replaced by Kelly.
Kane deserves to start imo tonight as there is no need in playing Rangel twice in the space of only a few days at his age. I would also personally like to see more of Pugh,Ball and Wells but its hard to get them in the first 11 right now which must be a great headache for Warburton to have. I rate Amos highly but tonight might present a chance to give him a little rest and bring him on later in the game!
I wouldn't make to many changes tonight as the team in general have had a good start to the season and our only lost came away from home at a team tipped to contend for promotion. If tonight's result doesn't go our way or there's an inept performance then I can see the need for changes at home to Wigan Saturday.
My team would be -
Lumley
Kane Hall Barbet Manning
Cameron Ball
BOS Chair Eze
Hugill

Wells and Kane both have to start for me tonight. I'd also like to see Chair from the start, but he didn't take his chance to impress when he came on against Bristol at the weekend, so I could see him remaining on the bench!

lumley manning barbet hall kane cameron smith eze chair bos wells
would be my team. think it'd be harsh to drop lumley but as others have said, hes one bad game away from being dropped. overall i think hes a much better keeper than kelly but his mistake against bristol cost us the game even though barbet was responsible as well for the goal lumley's clearance was horrendous.
think bos needs to start on the right so he's up against bidwell and as we all remember well bidwell is terrible at closing players down, i think bos would tear him apart with his pace

I have dropped Lumley and replaced him with Kelly who I feel can save a penalty if we get one against. Lumley will hopefully come back stronger from having seen a few matches from the bench.Just to make it clear; By dropping him, I don`t say we should sell him... The goalkeepers form a team and can actually learn from each others weaknesses and strengths and in that way come back stronger the next time they get the chance.
