Always was a pre-game meal for my dad and I before heading to the pub. I was much fatter back then, mind. I'm not sure I could maintain my weight loss if Cooke's ever came back lol. |

I love a bit of pie & mash. My nearest shop is Goddards in Greenwich. They're always so busy, and the tourist love it! If I'm looking for somewhere a bit more 'authentic'I'll go to Manze's on the Tower Bride Road.

Just checked Vesps. It is the same guys that run the Golden Pie in Battersea.
I think they are testing the water at the Wigan game and if there is a decent turnout it will be a regular thing. As such, if you'd like to see pie and mash back in the Bush every matchday, it'll be worth popping down for this one!

Don't forget all The Golden Pie touches down tomorrow on the White City from 11am - 3pm and then after the game from 5-6.30pm
Delicious pie mash and liquor from one of the best pie houses in London.
The Parish Centre, Commonwealth Avenue.
Right bang in the middle of the White City.
If you're coming down South Africa Road from either direction, the little entrance into White City opposite the shops (Springbok) it's 1 min up there on the left.
Cant wait. Rangers has been crying out for this since Cookes went.
