Hill had his moments. Got sent off for a headbutt iirc.
Didn't Terrell Forbes get sent off for similar against Wycombe?

he was a complete cunt of a human being. Compared to some people who've worn the shirt, he actually did a pretty decent job. He was here at a time when the plane was totally out of control, Uncle in dreamland, and downed tools all over the fuckin shop.

He was here at a time when the plane was totally out of control, Uncle in dreamland, and downed tools all over the fuckin shop. According to our fitness coach at the time he was the main problem within the dressing room, always blaming everyone but himself for the problems and intimidating those who he thought he could get away with it. He was the reason Zamora said he would rather be fishing than playing football. There was also that day at Man City when he tried to off set the blame for his actions saying either Hill or Derry told him to do it; that was utter bollocks. So much that was wrong about him in all the time he was associated with the club and coupled with Hollywood passes on the pitch he is without a doubt the worst player to ever wear a hooped shirt. Most of the candidates would be there for their footballing ability he is there on his own because he is just a complete cunt of a human being.

Good one, I forgot about his gentle caress on Danny Thomas. Gavin is now a hairdresser.

Me too, As soon as I saw it I turned to my brother and said "He's done him properly there, be lucky if he can play again" It was one of the worst tackles I have ever seen. It also was a result of panic rather than malice as he had lost control of the ball and was about to lose it.

You need stop being so judgemental and grow up. He didn't rape anyone. he didn't kill anyone and he's not a politician. He just a flawed person, like most of us. Barton was OK for us, and compared to plenty of people his contribution was above average. You also need stop rewriting history. Our club was out of control at that point, end of story.

Not so much of a nutter but notable mention for Andy Impey when he chinned someone by the wing on Ellerslie Road. No pushing, no mouthing, smack. Lovely stuff

Barton of 13-14 season was a decent player and a driving force with Hill and Dunne that helped get promotion. The Barton in his first season was a pain in the arse.

Danny Maddix? Always thought he was solid in the tackle. Otherwise known as a red card waiting to happen

The bloke is morally bankrupt, who the fuck puts a cigar out in a kids eye? Yeah, sure he was a complete idiot who lost himself and damaged others - he's acknowledged it - but like I say, if he wears our shirt then I'm there for that. Let me explain. My prime concern with players is a) do they have ability and b) are they prepared to put in a shift. Their moral status is, for me, a separate issue. As a fan, it isn't in my remit to pass judgement on what people get up to off the park. That is the job of the courts, should the law be broken. Furthermore, some deeply problematic individuals have produced magic, and this applies not just to sport - I could give plenty of examples. Barton didn't produce magic, but on the whole he did a job for us. It's also worth remembering that the club knew exactly what they were getting into when they signed him. Everyone knew. Was it reasonable to assume that his personality would change when he came here? Of course not. The truth is that the club chose to ignore the bad boy stuff for pragmatic reasons. I suppose I'm justifying that decision here, but equally if you think he shouldn't have been at LR, you have to hold the club accountable for making it happen... twice.....
