Few options. Chair second half was great, Wells worked them both halves, Barbet was the player we thought we were getting but for me Eze was the standout player. He dominated and controlled the game

Thought Barbet was dreadful to be honest. Eze shades it over Chair for me.

eze for me followed by leistner tbh. thought others maybe had better games than leistner but the whole dynamic changed when he came on and we looked way more composed and confident on and off the ball

Thought Barbet was dreadful to be honest. Eze shades it over Chair for me. really Ginge why??? Was the main man at the back, put head on it, cleared it, started build up play I thought he was superb

He dominated and controlled the game Thought Barbet was awful in the first half and allowed Garner to bully him. Was only when BFG came on did we get to grips with him at the back. That substitution for me was a game changer as it allowed Chair, Wells and Eze to go and play and also protected Manning who got nothing in the first half from Barbet. Thought Lumley looked suspect especially in the first half.

Eze has really matured since last season. He is oozing confidence and his work rate is right up there.

Eze for me but only just over chair.
Eze s defensive work this season has been superb and now finally makes him the all rounded player we hoped he’d be.

Eze s defensive work this season has been superb and now finally makes him the all rounded player we hoped he’d be. this was what I was getting at last season when I said he needed to work harder. Was accused of talking him down and not being fair but I could see if he added that to his game and became all rounder his game goes to new levels Glad Warbs was not scared of telling him this and is getting that extra 10% out of him

Would have voted Eze but as you have included Warburton I went for him because he had the guts to make the right changes and they worked - how refreshing for a Rangers'manager of late? He will have learnt a lot today so 3 points and some good pointers for the season. Wells and Hugill can play together, and Chair and Eze will scare a few defences.

Warburton been accused of having no Plan B but he changed team and 2nd half changed formation. That sounds like plan B to me

Warburton been accused of having no Plan B but he changed team and 2nd half changed formation. That sounds like plan B to me He seems to have a plan C and D too. So far this season he's played 4-2-3-1; 4-3-3; 4-4-2; and 3-5-2. I'd say he's fluid and adaptable in his approach, and importantly makes the changes quickly as he sees they're needed, not waiting until it's too late (or never at all) like our previous managers. He's been criticised for being stubborn, but I've seen no evidence of that. Still early days, but perhaps he's learned and improved from his experience at Forest and Rangers.
