With only 12,000 at todays game, at what point will the board realise that ticket pricing needs to be brought down.
with a ticket in the family stand for todays game costing £30 odd pound, surely, the club needs to take a look at pricing for games against the likes of wigan and look to introduce a £20 price for catagory c matches.

family stand tickets cost 30 quid? wow i actually never even knew that! i can understand why the club want a family stand to bring in new supporters but they've gotta make those affordable at the very least and it's not even hard to do. do something like an adult ticket for 20 and a kids ticket for 8 quid or something but you can only buy 2+ tickets at a time with at least one of those being for kids.
i do think that tickets are a tad on the expensive side overall too, the club could make the same money we make from games now but have a far bigger crowd just by lowering the prices of tickets. i wonder how many of those 12k fans at todays game are ST holders too? 7-8k or so?

Think fans that want to go are going and dropping prices won’t have much of an impact maybe couple hundred more not couple thousand we would want
The fans turn up for the big games but is it cost stopping them turning up smaller ones???

Think the actual fare on offer these past few years had a lot to do with crowds reducing. As for pricing I got done an additional £5 for buying a ticket at 10am on the day of the huddersfield game £38 for a gold seat in ellerslie rd block V.

TBF, it is a lot cheaper if you are a season ticket holder or even a member, buying in advance is also cheaper, especially if you pick the tickets up at the box office beforehand. I picked up my Portsmouth ticket before the Swansea game and it only cost £5, the same as what I paid for my Bristol City Cup ticket which was £2.50 cheaper than going to watch my local team Banbury United vs Nuneaton Borough the same night.

I think there should be a reduction as you buy more tickets that would get more bums on seats - its a risk to reduce the price and have the same 12,000 spend less money - but if you said one ticket £30 the next Is £25 and a 3rd £20 and so on - it might encourage those regulars to bring someone with them!

We are still one of a few clubs that offer discount to over 60s (not 65) and U23s (not 18).

I think the club do some good things regarding ticket prices under 8's being free one of them but think the matchday prices is something that needs looking at especially for league games as it will price out people who have families and who are not season ticket holders.

Forgot the £3.50 booking fee so £41.50 for a championship game is unrealistic long term. £41.50 to watch us play is utter madness mate. do not understand how the club sees that is a fair price to watch 90mins of football. if you add your two little ones along with program and a pie, your looking at a ton. i maybe behind the times but i cannot justify that outlay. just sticking to the cup games as the prices are affordable and try to watch the league matches on dodgy streams.

How much is the saving vs a ST? I've never done the maths... I have been a season ticket holder up until the end of last season but due to work could not see the value this time around. Most likely works out at around £100 a season difference. Paid £28 in SAR yesterday in block A but that was in advance.

It is a double edged sword though isn't it? If you drop the prices drastically then there will be no point in having a season ticket, that could lead to less fans bothering to buy one and then just not bother turning up to so many games. We skirt the edge of financial solvency every season on our matchday income, hence the need to get into a new stadium which can be used outside match days. If it were at all possible, the club should do their damnedest to stop illegal streams etc. so that if people were really interested in seeing QPR the only way they could do it would be to attend games and then the club could bring down the prices. The stayaways are also not contributing anything through merchandising, catering etc. so it is no wonder Lee Hoos won't lower prices for casual fans. Even buying a membership would be a good start in helping the club.

Joint ST in LL for me and my lad is 540 (divided by 23 home games = 23.50 for the two of us or 12 each if we get to all)
Portsmouth ticks from the box office in person after Wigan were 10+1 for me and my lad
30-40 a match isn't viable for me - especially with beer at a fiver a pint

Off topic but I was looking at ticket prices for the ashes test at the oval as I've never been to a live cricket game. Minimum is £100 for days 1-4 which is pretty nuts considering it could piss down the day you've got your ticket for and see no action. Think I'll pass at that price.

So we don't accept that ticket prices as they are just about sustain the club ?
Reduce the prices and I'd bet the additional people through the door makes fuck all difference.
