That is true, and his first touch let him down on at least one occation today. With Clarke in our squad, I think we have options upfront this season..If needed the latter one can play in the striker position I think..

If Burnley want to sell him then that's their right, having spent good money on him and paid him well for a good few years. I was fucked off at first and questioned why we'd agreed to a clause like that. Having reflected on it, we're probably actually quite lucky to have held onto him for 18 months. Can't think we've been paying much more than half his wage.

We must financially be in such a mess to not compete with wages in this decision.
If Wells is genuinely happy here then Surely we could off offered a decent sign on fee and wages to make the deal permanent in the summer.

Agree Maids somethings just have to be done for the good of the club
Find a million quid from somewhere and sign him even if you have to get rid of someone else
He has been instrumental in our success this season he is worth the effort
Atm we do even seem interested in trying to keep him so disappointing get him on a pre contract
If he earns more than some of the others so what happens at all clubs
He earns more because he is better like Eze and Samuel we need him to stay

We will have to pay a few million for a replacement anyway that is half good
Difference between mid table and relegation scrap that player
We cannot have a player that excels at our club just leaving every year how can you go forward like that

If possible, we should send Hugill back to West Ham and spend the money on Wells. I hazard a guess that an English club can`t sign a pre-contract with an English player, but if possible we should try it.

We will probably have to splash 500k -2mill on a striker to replace Wells. We know his situation and I am sure if Wells has told Burnley he wants to leave they will look to release and remove his 25k per week wages of their salary at the end of the season. If we could get him for free on a 2/3 year contract for 15-20k per week that would be a 750k -1.1m per year investment per year on top striker! Surely the club can see value in this and with the likelihood of Eze being sold in the summer we should be looking to take advantage of Wells situation.

If the rumoured price of 5mil is true glad we’re not getting involved and if anyone on here thinks we should be paying that then they need head testing
This time last year fans were saying he was shit and to fuck off after missing Pens

If he wants to stay at QPR he just needs to make that clear to Burnley. 5 mill plus wells wages at 30 years old is a big punt for most clubs in the championship.

Wells is a big risk at 29 if we have to pay 5 mil. Would be a risk but maybe worth taking. He will look for a big contract as it may be his last one to really earn from.

We should offer him 25k a week on a free at the end of the season 3 yr deal
He would take that
They can't make him sign for city
If Eze is going we should secure Wells asapppp

Everytime we manage to build something it's gets fucked up by someone else
How can we ever build a good team going forward in this manner it's impossible

We should offer him 25k a week on a free at the end of the season Players look after themselves. If Bristol offer a good signing on fee and a 3 year contract now then he might not want to risk losing out through injury or form in the future.

Maybe we think there are viable targets out there that are a better investment. Nakhi won't really have much in the way of resale value. These days we don't typically like spending fees on older players.

I would let him go if he wants it and we really dont have much say.
Maybe we could get someone else on loan Billy Sharp or someone like that, then appraise the situation again come the summer.

Nice comment that What is a shit fan if not some of the pond life abusing our own players on Twitter and copying them in to make sure they know what useless cunts they are and should never play for QPR again and preferably fuck off and die? When I said shit fans, perhaps I should have made myself clearer, cunts who are not fans in the least but fuck knuckles who only appear after losses etc.

On the official Twitter late last night. Nakhi Wells is going nowhere until the end of the season. I'm sure that is probably down to Nakhi not wanting to go anywhere. If so, blokes an utter legend. Hope we sign him on a 2 or 3 year deal at the end of the season!
