Never got why we feel that another tie is an inconvenience when we are challenging for 14th place in the league. Good cup run equals more money which could mean a better standard of player.

So that´s why Kelly got the yellow? For arguing with the ref about the pen? no for trying to put kicker off and delay pen being taken But he was livid it had been given.

Shitty subs tonight. Made us way too narrow. Should have hooked the striker for Wells. And then put Hugill on with two up. Bringing Ball on was dumb. Shit night tbh.

Got to say i`m home and gutted , gutted with the team selection and gutted with the performance , we should be putting our strongest possible side out .Dont understand why anyone would prefer a slightly higher leage position ,to a Wembley cup final apperance, only young people who have never seen Rangers in 82 or 86 could justify this team selection . Pisses me right off.........

Pisses me right off......... Just do not get it at all, Could understand if we are all out going for promotion but not when we are challenging to finish mid table. A good cup run does wonders for the club and gives us much needed revenue which lets be fair means a win all round.

My take on this is that It`s not about the cup this season, it`s about survival or possibly a midtable position. The latter will be great imo..

The ref had his whistle in his mouth ready before he even turned the BFG for the penalty. The ref gave us nothing all night and scrubbing Eze's goal off just about summed him up. Last night was a bit like watching the QPR of last year, good in patches and one or two moments of scintillating play but ultimately for nothing. Manning was the only one to escape with reputation unscathed from that. Chair looked the part until his injury and I hope that it doesn't affect him for this weekend.

We are a club that needs revenue or so we are told so how can a cup run not be what it is about when we look like a team that will stay up? 14 or 15th in the league versus a cup run with a possibility of drawing a big team to generate much needed funds. Heard a fellow last night say that Rochdale will earn around 1 million for drawing United.

Good revenue stream and after the last few days that should not be just chucked away Money is only paid for reaching the semi finals and the final (£100k for winners, £50k for losers and £25k each for semi finalists) up until then and including the semi & the final, each club receives 45% of the gate money as the only reward.

Refs should go train with Cirque du Soleil to see the difference between a fall and a dive. Anyone who has played from a school yard to a full pitch knows if you are tripped you go sprawling, you don't lift both legs up and fall from an exaggerated height. Yes I know everyone does it and it has always gone on - but nothing like these days - and this bollox about being entitled to go down really pisses me off.

And no, I don't condone Eze doing it just because he's ours.

Ryan Lowe reckoned Rochdale will earn around a million for drawing United couple that with a live game and it is much needed dough into the club.

It's insane. Who in their right mind truly believes such a statement. The modern day player backed up by all the pundits. There in lies the problem as players should be encouraged to stay on their feet while they can. Unfortunately they are encouraged to do the opposite

Staying in the league should be number 1 priority, cup is a distraction. If you disagree, cool. Again, your opinion.
