these stats tell the story for me. we have the top scorer in the championship hugill 5 goals from 5 starts. joint 6th in the league. 10 points from a possible 18. scored 9, conceded 9. last season, 4 points out of a possible 18 scored 3 and conceded 13 a brilliant first month and would say we are playing above all expectations. still think we are a cb and a winger light though. welldone to warburton and all the players. #chuffed You know what hits? Shows you stats mean nothing, Charlton are 2nd yet have the fewest shots.

That’s what jumped out at me 73, but there is some correlation that most teams top of league are having more shots, just looks like Charlton are more clinical

That said, I think we can improve a fair bit. It just requires Warburton to sacrifice a bit of his footballing philosophy, and for a bit of luck with regards to injuries and suspensions at the back! |

I'd have to admit that from what I've seen and what we can potentially become, if we don't finish mid-table then it'll be higher rather than lower. Refreshing really ! |

still think it'll be midtable but part of me is still thinks we'll make the top 10. either way, i can't see us being in a relegation battle and one thing for certain is all of the games have been enjoyable edge of your seat stuff with an attacking philosophy (wba aside!) where we've actually played good which is all any of us wanted at the start of the season. there's a lot of positives thats for sure, it's just stupid defending and mistakes that have cost us but we've gone toe to toe with the clubs that have beaten us.

Mate, in this league there is always a team with potential that gets their shit together 2nd half of the season and makes the play-offs. There is no reason at all we can't be that team.
