At at present we are probably a top 10 ten Championship team that on our day can beat anyone
This is exactly where I think QPR as a club sit challenging the top six spot every year hopefully
with a good manager and a team that want to win even when they go behind
We are not a Prem team or a top 3 side but we are a good top 10 team so compared to the last few
seasons we have made money from sales and progressed well as a club
I have over the last few season been dismayed at what was happening at our club and have also
been very very critical of the whole management of the club but today I believe we have finally
turned the the corner to go forward and be a club we can be really proud again to support
So QPR board well done ithis year so far in appointing a really good Warnock style manager
and great recruitment of new players that want to win for QPR.
Well happy today with my club and being a supporter of Qpr again at last

Not getting carried away but this group really feels right. After some of the dogs shit we’ve been subjected too this is just so refreshing and for a young bunch they ain’t half got some swagger about them. Just as it should be

I also like the fact that even when we've lost this season we've played really well in patches and it was mistakes that cost us, not that we were shit.

That's the important thing to remember in all this. We didn't play well against Pompey but it was no worse than the average game from last season; it wasn't shit. IIRC, all the players that were brought in to replace those who left have to be on no more than 60% of the salary of the outgoing player so not only are we seeing the best football in a long while but on 2/3rds of the money we were paying players before. It will undoubtedly go nipples north at some point and it would be good to remember this when it happens and not go batshit crazy over a defeat or an individual error by a player. I have raised my expectations to top half of the table but as long as we finish above 20th it won't have been as disasterous as many thought before the season started when we were nailed on relegation candidates due to the turmoil.

A fantastic turnaround from the last few seasons. Plenty of stylish football being played by a group of players who are responding to good management.
For me, the biggest factor was the brave decision to replace so many under performing and under motivated players, with those that want to put in the effort that should go hand in hand with the rewards.
Despite not always getting the results our play has deserved, we’ve not really had a poor game yet. Hardly surprising the vast majority are very happy with the progress being made. You can’t really ask for much more than everyone doing their best both in training and on match days and I’ve not seen anything yet to suggest they aren’t.
We just need to continue working as hard as we have been and I think we can all be proud again.

Great to see youth being properly integrated too.

Congratulations to both the current management and playing staff. Theres No better feeling than winning away from home as it demonstrates ones eclat and minerals.
I savour and swirl these hard fought away wins around my palate, Even more so as it's so opposed to the perpetual credo of whipped mutt subjugation In recent times, when not only did we seem to be be beat before kick off at away games, but i fully expected some of our players to Offer up their Wives at close of play at 5.45pm on away matchdays to serve as concubines in a Terry Thomas Style Hareem to their opposing number.
top ten finish in our grasp. Good times baby. Good times.

It's all about building a TEAM.
Salary restrictions shouldn't affect that IMO. For example, Ball is probably cheaper than Cousins but I know who I would sign when asked.

The Management team seemed to have had a plan and for a change stuck to it. We were lucky to get a good Manager with a clear vision of what and who he wanted. The Manager and his team have improved almost every player here.Whilst we are not going to win every game we have a chance to win against anyone and be entertained.

Well 23.33% of us (myself included) bettered that by boldly predicting we'd make the play-offs in the poll...so we remain on course!

Whilst we are not going to win every game we have a chance to win against anyone and be entertained. Can't disagree with this at all. Personally think that we're still a mid-table side (win a couple, lose a couple) but anything can happen and for the first time in ages I think we are all happy with what's going on.

Well 23.33% of us (myself included) bettered that by boldly predicting we'd make the play-offs in the poll...so we remain on course! I voted mid-table in that poll and I still think that now. It might seem strange, but I'd prefer us to use this season to properly integrate the team and set us up for a tilt next season. Of course if we did get into the play-offs, I'd back us 100% and enjoy the ride, but if we actually did go up, we'd be the whipping boys of the top tier, and I would really hate that. Unless the board, flush with money and freed from FFP decided to back Warbs to the hilt.... Nevertheless, for the sake of my nerves, I'll happily take mid-table this season and then see what next season brings.

Difficult to build a proper side in this "must do it now" culture but I'd love to see it happen. I've got loads of respect for Sheffield United in how they've done it....got to be one of only a handful that have taken time to build successful squad, team and style while being allowed/backed all the way by the Board. Holding onto the better players is key as well.
