Why is England playing a Euro2020 qualifier in Southampton of all places? I get moving internationals around occasionally but stick to friendlies or Nations League at most, and I'd understand Old Trafford or The Etihad if they want to go up north, but Wembley was South last time I looked so why an important game at St Mary's?

They played Newcastle few matches back did they not???
Makes sense to move instead of playing in empty stadium against Kosovo

40k rattling round 90k stadium is not an advantage to me.
Personally don’t think we need worry about Kosovo, regardless of their record. Should be able to play them in sports hall and win

I'd actually enjoy it if we were in a group with some teams that were actually better than / similar standard to us (not loads but at least 1 or 2).
Yes Kosovo created an open game with loads of goals but the result was never in doubt was it ?
The only way to make these qualifiers interesting is to have the real possibility of not qualifying IMO (or at least not finishing 1st). Would also prepare the team much better for the finals.
