So who are the teams you always look forward to playing and never want to lose too. I know people usually point too the local derbies but I’m talking personal rivalries (could be London)
My ones are:
Chelsea no explanation needed
Palace really cannot stand them. Only know three palace fans but that club has always irritated me when they used to come to ours and us to them. Always found their fans pretty mouthy but no walk to back it up. And there new ultras 🤢
Norwich at home was the first game I went without an adult and there was bit of argy bargy. They sing that pathetic drippy song on the ball city and they think their a huge club. Stomach turns thinking about them now so that’s enough of that
Luton well was always brought up on the Rivalry and hearing the stories so dislike because of that. Trips to kenelworth road when younger were always hairy and the away end is a proper dive putting it politely. This is proper rivalry beyond the likes of Brentford and Fulham which are just local games
There not in the hatred group like four above but Reading are starting to irritate me beyond what they should

Scum, Cardiff, Luton and reading. Fucking hate reading. See they were singing the white city song on their last home game on the box. Really embarrassing club

brentford and reading are my main rivals. i admire what brentford have done but i can't stand them, it's like a cup final to me when we play them and to me is our most important game of the season. hate it when we lose to them. i hate reading more than brentford though simply coz i live close to reading and have seen how glory hunting their fans are, for example when they first got promoted to the prem i was still a helicopter hat wearing boy at school and most of the kids at my school suddenly changed their allegiance from the big 4 to reading and acted like they'd always supported reading. there were reading shirts everywhere in bracknell and i just couldn't stand all the glory hunting. it's still the same thing everytime reading have a good season.
another rival for me even though i don't hate them is fulham simply coz my dad supports them and it's a big game when we play them as he doesn't shut up about it if they beat us lol. he was livid when we beat them 2-1 at the cottage a few seasons back which was great for me!

Good point about people switch alliances. I’ll add Brighton into the mix for that reason. You wouldn’t believe how many people I grew up with that look me in the face and tell me they’ve always been Brighton when in reality they wouldn’t know where the goldstone was for love nor money. About as plastic as they come

Anyone who changes clubs over the age of 13 is suspect as a person in my book, i knew a fella from the scooter scene who always a Charlton fan, then he switched ( in his 30s ) to West Ham , I've never seen him in the same light since

Got a bloke at work that was a spurs fan and the week after the scum won the league he came in with a Chelsea shirt on. Was one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever seen and he got royally abused

Agree Vespa don’t get that. How can you have passion for team the highs and lows then one day wake up and say I support someone else
If Rangers ever went under don’t think I could get emotionally involved following anyone else. Would still watch it on box but going week in week out getting vexed about results no don’t think I could or would

I don’t get how people have a ‘hatred’ for Reading. They are nothing with a boring stadium.
Chelsea are the obvious one but Brentford and Fulham have to be in the mix now. Not on the same level as Chelsea but as we play them more we have more on going battles with them.
Luton are fun to play against. No hatred for Cardiff now and it bugs me that we sing we hate Cardiff City when we should swap that for Brentford FC. We had a rivalry with them in a battle for promotion and Langley but that’s it. Even their fans are baffled that we sing about them.

Rivalry , is a difficult one for me ! I always look for Fulham's result , hoping they've lost ,then Chelsea ! But I would certainly celebrate hardest a goal against Chelsea ,then Fulham. So would be those two first in any order. Luton and Oxford I'd count as rivals because of the run ins on and off the pitch in the 80s. But when we're not playing them ,I'm not bothered if they win or lose . Also personally I love getting points off Palace and Millwall, just because I know loads of their supporters. There is awhile list of clubs I dislike for various different reasons , but they aren't rivalries as such .

Brentford ??No cunt supports them ! might be because im from the right side ,but ive never ever met a Brentford fan ( except on a matchday ), they never came on our radar Fulham , i despise Fulham as a club and 90%of their so called support , but ive got respect for the 6000 that followed them in the 79s /80s early 90s unfortunately , when Chelsea were a similar size club to us ,they alway saw Spurs ,West Ham etc as their rivals , we were good for a bully up on the West London derby and nothing more

I live near Fulham and they never had any fans years ago would sometimes climb over by the toilets at the Hammersmith end they couldn't afford any stewards to stop us , it would be so boring we'd all leave after 20 mins . U could stand anywhere there was so much open terrace

Hello QPR Fans Since 2014, we—the students and professors of the Know Rivalry Project—have been studying rivalry for sports in North America with the help of message board members. Now we are expanding our research to the EFL Championship. Please help us ensure that Queens Park Rangers are included by taking 9 minutes to complete our updated survey: umassamherst.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3FdJ8eN2EgFCfCB?mbsrc=krdir&grpID=1422Our previous results in the US have been featured in numerous sports media outlets, as well as the Wall Street Journal and New York Times. You can view those results, links to media coverage, and learn more about us at our KnowRivalry.com website. We use the Qualtrics online survey software for data collection. This academic research has been approved by two US universities' Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and it poses no risks to respondents. You'll find more information on the disclosure agreement that is required to start the survey. Thank you for helping us to include QPR by participating and please share this with any other fans that may also help. I'd always have Chelsea on the list even though they couldn't care less, and there's no way fucking Watford should have got 'bigger' than us. Shitty little hole of a club when I was a kid.

Did anyone actually complete his survey? I think that's what he was hoping for, as he's not returned since his OP.
