Some say the spent ยฃ100 million on transfers in the summer, I think wasted would be a better description

I distinctly remember Jim White saying what a fantastic transfer window they had had. Tells you all you need to know about Sky and the Prem. The barometer/benchmark is how much you spend not what you get for it, it seems. I think they bought two goalkeepers and ended up putting the original one back in. They certainly didn't buy any decent defenders. Great fun to watch though. It just shows how quickly things can change in football.

At least we played one of ours, but we were almost as stupid as that.

Hard work starts for them now as they now have to start looking at clearing the rubbish they have bought this season which as we know is the hardest part for any relegated team.

Think with two or three additions there promotion team was well capable of staying up but they tore it apart and spent millions to go backwards

Defensively they were dreadful in the championship but outscored teams and that tactic could never work at the next level. Cairney has been found out as he looks slow and is so one footed which means he can be taken out games very easily. The boy wonder Sessignon is just that a boy in the mans world. And no team can survive with Odoi and Ream as first team regulars.
