Mick Beale altered the first team training schedule to be able to be at the game today, that’s what I call dedication. redknapp used to go watch the west ham youth games for 60 minutes on the saturday morning to see if there were any hidden talent in the ranks. not that west ham had any problem unearthing young players around that era anyway lol. even so though lots of young players have said how much the 1st team managers presence would drive them on to step it up. |

Aoraha is a classic number 6 in DM, gets stuck in, always in the battles. Pedder is a 10, freeflowing playmaker, good technique and eye for goal.

As well as needing him till Jan (when we might finally bring in a striker?) problem with loans is we send out seemingly promising players, normally to much lower league clubs, and they just disappear. Betache, who I was starting to rate a couple of seasons ago, someone said last week was on the bench for a national Conference side. Wd like to think we have better coaches here, and he is getting some game time. Exactly why Beale wants more games played by reserves and young players so he can see who’s developing. |

Just read up on our loanees last lot of games.
All of them were subs with the bulk of them not even playing.
And we have 2 goal keeprs on loan at the same club. Wtf, that's a daft decision.
Doesn't give much hope

Doesn't give much hope Suppose it only makes sense if they are not in the manager's plans and the other club pays the wages, otherwise as you say what is the point? Also once it gets below League 2 its hard to see how anyone bar the very occasional brilliant late developer is going to make it. |

agents are vultures lol and they will try and get as many young players as they can in the hope one of them makes it. peter crouch has some good stories about his agent. crouchy was put into contact with his agent via ledley king when he was only 15 and signed with him coz his agent bought him a nice hamper or something, he ended up staying with him for his entire career. the funniest agent story crouch has though is in regards to signing with us and how he was swindled by gerry francis. gerry told crouch that we were interested in him but that dealing with agents is absolutely off the table and if crouch tells his agent then QPR will pull out. crouch was desparate for the move so he agreed and turned up with his dad, the deal was sorted out very quickly and crouch signed a deal for £800 a week or something. when crouch told his agent about the move and gerry's refusal to deal with agents his agent was furious and said "he's lied to you! i was talking to him just this morning!" lol. |

Yes, they are working hard to get in the first team squad 🤣 Tbf to the lads, I think Hall should have put some fresh legs on in midfield/forward areas after 60 mins or so. No subs until 89😱 Poor game management, imo. |
