Also that he could not do anything because he was on subs bench all the time That's because he was too heavy to get off it.

Let’s not fall for the Austin BS now he’s off.
If he wanted play he would have sorted himself out and got fit but he never so look yourself in the mirror.
Fact club asked if he was retiring more or less sums up how he’s performed. Should never have resigned him

Delighted he's leaving.
Great servant APART from this season. Can't fault him last season. I felt he single handedly lifted the team.
This season he's been absolutely abysmal. Really happy we inserted that sensible clause. Hopefully the jock is not far behind him out the door.

Charlie Austin on talksport twitter clip saying that he is pissed off that the club didn’t offer him another contract And that the club asked him if he was going to retire Also that he could not do anything because he was on suns bench all the time Bloke is fucking deluded. Should have got his fat arse fit to play a decent level of football.

Listen to him talking about his exit on the podcast
I really can’t work him out
I don’t dislike him but my god his personality and way he speaks is one where I would struggle to get on with him
He defo likes the smell of his own shit and rates himself
Those interviewing literally crawling up his Arse think only their feet are still visible
One thing which does come across is he’s fan of Warburton and thinks he’s been very hard done by and they got on really well

Chaz has realised the easy life gravy train has come to a end. Reputation at a certain age doesn’t cut it anymore. You need to put graft in to keep up with the Jones’s. Now he got to think I ain’t going to be able to milk a decent wage for doing fuck all for another year. You reap what u sow. He not been hard done by, he stole a living last year so he needs to pipe down and look at his lazy fat big headed self and not blame others. We not a charity or a free money shop chaz ,

Charlie a shadow of his former self. Didn't like the panto villain he liked to portray. Releasing both him and Warburton are the right decisions imo

Off to Australia if rumours are true
Fact he’s going play that standard kind of sums up what we had to endure from him last season

I'm a bit salty with Charlie after his efforts last season. Having met Ruddock though, he's got a long way to go to be as low in my estimations as that fat arrogant prick.

Sorry to comment & drag up a thread that's probably been done to death but my 2 penneth worth...
I was as excited as the rest of us for Charlie to return, but god almighty he was turd last season, wasn't he? Really tainted my view on him tbh. Bloke looks shot to bits as a footballer, can barely even run. Came across a proper big time Charlie (no pun intended) as well, seems to be more interested in his media work, horse racing etc these days.

Cmon Marty say it. Chaz if u reading this...... You are a legend in your own mind. You talk a good game but can’t play one. You should retire official as you had unofficial last season. You have wasted the end of your career, good luck u fat mug. That help matty ?

Bloke looks shot to bits as a footballer, can barely even run. Came across a proper big time Charlie (no pun intended) as well, seems to be more interested in his media work, horse racing etc these days. He was a shadow of his former self but I will forgive a lot for that last minute header against WBA - my daughter and her friend came for the first time in ages and they were so buzzing after that goal and me and a group of friends went out celebrating and had one of those evenings that makes supporting a football team worthwhile. When that goal hit the back of the net it was the kind of moment that makes football fans. Plus that other goal (on his second debut?) Luton away kick-started our entire transformation. Not spectacular goals, not Adel-esque, but brilliant Roy of the Rovers moments. The fact he couldn't run any more shouldn't have surprised us. I remember when he played for WBA against us at Loftus Rd several years ago now, and they ran us off the park, looked a different league, but the one player who was no better than our team that day was, sad to say, Charlie. Probably like Michael Owen in that respect, he became a lumbering parody of the player he had been - either thru injury or lifestyle, I've no idea. Anyway, he has gone now, lets wish him well and remember the good times.
