Any specific rituals apart from the obvious.
Past valentines adventures with wives or exes.
Fancy places to wine and dine?
I'm Looking for novel ideas rather than the basic card and bunkup.

I'm out of work at the mo so have been let off spending duties.
Although to mark the day we have bought heart shaped crumpets for breakfast tomorrow.
And we will have strawberries and real Cornish clotted cream for pud.
Too over commercialised imo, as is Easter, Halloween and Christmas, so quite happy
not to be lining the pockets too much of wealthy pigs

I think i will go down croydons route. Bottle of fiz, soppy card and will have a chinese waiting for her when she gets home from work.
Your right about the hike in prices by the establishments for days like this and mothers/fathers day.
They have even cottoned on to people waiting for the weekend and have jacked up the prices for then too.
