QPR beat Hull to record a fourth away win of the season and climb to fifth in the Championship table. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 3-2 win.
Liam Kelly: 6
Produced an important first-half save to deny Kamil Grosicki but was at fault for the second Hull goal, when he was too eager to come from his line and was beaten at his near post.
Angel Rangel: 7
Showed his experience with a steady and composed performance at right-back.
Yoann Barbet: 6
Cleared a Tom Eaves header off the line but was too slow to close down Jarrod Bowen for the opening goal.
Toni Leistner: 6
Also sluggish for Hull’s first goal and arguably at fault for the second too, but could justifiably argue that he had the situation under control and Kelly should have stayed put.
Ryan Manning: 8
The Irishman goes from strength to strength at left-back. Manning fired in the equaliser and his all-round performance was excellent.
Geoff Cameron: 7
Did an important defensive job in midfield, helping Rangers control much of the game.
Josh Scowen: 7
Also did well in midfield. Went close with an effort on goal and later sent in a cross which was just missed by Jordan Hugill.
Ebere Eze: 9
Just brilliant. His mazy runs had Hull worried throughout the first half and he went close with a free-kick, which resulted in the corner that led to Manning’s equaliser. Won two penalties by drawing fouls while insulting Hull’s defence with his silky skills and on both occasions stuck the spot-kick away emphatically.
Ilias Chair: 7
Went close with a long-range strike in the first half and was always lively.
Bright Osayi-Samuel: 7
Caused Hull problems on the flank, including in the build-up to Manning’s leveller.
Nahki Wells: 7
Had a frustrating afternoon in front of goal and failed to hit the target with the rebound after Scowen’s effort was saved. But he worked hard and constantly created space for Rangers’ other attacking players.
Jordan Hugill: 7
Made an impact after coming on and was just unable to get to Scowen’s cross.
Marc Pugh: 6
Showed his experience with a tidy showing after coming on for Osayi-Samuel in the second half.
