Combined three goals in 15 games.

I blame Eze more than Wells for that. Strikers rely on good service, which Wells has been starved of lately.

Eze did OK against Leeds the other night and played well against West Brom. Woeful is harsh.

drop eze and replace him with who Play Freeman in the same position. Cameron is back soon. So him and Luongo or Cousins in the middle. BOS n WOZ on the wings.

Drop Eze to the bench, bring Freeman into the number 10 role, and put BOS on the wing. It'll be far more effective I think. It's also better to take Eze out of the limelight whilst his form is bad. The fans will get on his case at some stage if this continues.

An American pal of mine went to the game. He's not that knowledgeable about football, but he texted me asking who was the dreadful and useless No10......

Freeman and Eze both poor yesterday
Season has defo caught up with Eze and think cameos from bench until end of season are in order
I know there is a debate going on on Twitter about if he’s lazy or not, he is lazy and has always been lazy, was clear as day first game of the season he had no interest in grafting but the fans then said it’s fine as he’s creative 🤔

Devastating on his day, but a passenger more often than not. Needs coaching out of him in my opinion. We need to stop pandering to his ego!

Wells has run his balls off while here on loan and Hemed's injury has meant that he has played nearly every game so not going to knock him myself. Eze on the other hand looks like most of our team totally knackered both pyhsically and mentally and for a young lad has done ok overall with a much better first half of the season than second. Maybe just a coincidence but both Eze and Lumley have suffered from losing expreience around them in Rangel and Cameron.

Wouldn't call eze lazy.
What i will say though is that he does not have a footballing brain.
he does run about a fair bit but its all to aimless. he just does not cut off any passing lanes and is unable to anticipate the next pass.
rarely is able to pick out a killer pass and has the strength of a grape.
for all his nice little touches and the odd drop of the shoulder, he is not a very good footballer.

Hits does he chase back and make life hard for opposition when we are out of possession

Young boy with lots to learn which includes what he does without the ball and should he get that part of his game in place he may just become more than just another promising player.

I think Eze got the 10 shirt too soon.

We at least have a manager now who changes things when they're clearly not working e.g. Changing system after first 4 games; dropping Lynch for Hall. So hopefully he now does the same with Eze.

Personally I think he's a little slow to react when things aren't going right Stan. But I suppose that's better than the other end of the spectrum (i.e. last season).

Eze isn't lazy. He's just very under-confident. The lazy way he appears is a manifestation of the underlying issue. IMO. Agree with Cricks that he was given the No 10 shirt far too early. That hasn't helped at all. The talent is there but the head isn't.
